Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.

Cancellation terms in most cases are:

  • With less than 6 days notice before your arrival date: 100% of the total remaining balance
  • With less than 255 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page

Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

This unique apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a heritage house. Conveniently located in very close to downtown, close to all amenities and is perfect for travellers wishing to have a peaceful and relaxing stay in Ottawa. One off-street parking space is included when staying at this apartment. Further parking may be available.
The Space:
The apartment includes a fully separate bedroom with a queen bed. 2 queen beds in a separate room and another queen sofa bed in the living room which also contains the kitchenette.
Guest Access:
Kitchenette , One 3 Piece Bathroom, Dining Room / sitting room, 1 Private Bedroom plus another sleeping area and an Extra Bed/ Pull Out Sofa, Parking.
Interaction with Guests:
As needed, depending on the need of the guests. Guests can be served in English, French and Persian.
The Neighborhood:
The building is located close to Bank Street and Somerset in a very vibrant mixed residential and commercial neighbourhood only few blocks away from Ottawa Rideau Canal and in walking distance from Parliament Hill , Rideau Center Shopping Mall and the Byward Market Shopping and Restaurants and Bars. In walking distance is a grocery store with pharmacy, as well as shops, restaurants and more offering various ethnic and exotic food and flavour.
Getting Around:
The property is located half a block from the busy Bank St. which is full of shops and restaurants and 3 blocks from Elgin Street home to a variety of bars and restaurants. 2.1 kms from Parliament Hill and the Byward Market, it is walkable so long as you do not arrive in the heart of winter. Alternatively the core of Ottawa is fully serviced by buses, bike paths and cabs.
Other Things to Note:
To keep our costs down and save our environment, we are using only environmentally friendly products and DO NOT iron our sheets. Please help us by recycling in containers provided and keeping clean and soiled linens separate.
